I John Hoggard of Studfasthill in the Chapelry of Bilsdale and in North Riding of the County of York Farmer, being of perfect mind and memory make this my last Will and Testament, Imprimis, I give, bequeath and devise to my Wife Jane an Annuity of twelve Pounds per Annum (so long as she remains unmarried *) and two Beds with all things appertaining, and other furniture for two Rooms, when she separates from my Son, the Residue and Remainder of my Property with securities for money of what kind soever to me appertaining I give, devise, and bequeath to my Son John, whom and my aforesaid Wife Jane I constitute and appoint Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal this twenty eighth day of December in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and twenty eight. * The interlineation made before signature Signed, sealed, and declared by the within named Testator {seal} to be his last Will and Testament, in the Presence of us John + Hoggard who subscribed our Names in Presence of the said Testator and of each other - John Dixon Johnathon Hart I do hereby certify that, on the
seventh day of May, in the year of our Lord 1829, John Hoggard of Bilsdale
in the Parish of Helmsley in the County of York, Farmer, his Son &
Jane Hoggard of the same place, Widow, his Relict the executor & Executrix
named in the last Will and Testament of John Hoggard, late of Bilsdale
aforesaid, Farmer, deceased, were sworn well and truly to execute and perform
the same: and that the whole of the goods, chattels, and credits of the
said deceased, within the Diocese of York, do not amount in value to the
sum of Two hundred Pounds
