I am Peter Hogarth, and this is my potted history:
I was born in Oxford on 12th May 1945, to William
Thomas Hogarth and Muriel Lillian (née Cook).
William Thomas Hogarth was born in Stoke-on-trent, Staffordshire in about 1905 (not sure). He was the son of William Thomas Hogarth who had moved down from the Border Country. He was a miner, Chairman of North Staffs Mineworkers Union, and an Alderman of Stoke City Council. He had a brother. We all lost touch...
![]() I have two children, Jacob Owen Hogarth, born
Boston, Lincolnshire on 4th January 1975, who went to Durham University. My second son, Myles Tagdh Hogarth, was born in Limerick, Southern Ireland on 16th December 1978.
I was one of the founding staff of what is now the University of Limerick.
How is this for a start?
Best wishes
A note from Rod: I should point out that although Peter and I live only a mile and a half from each other, we are not related. At least as far as we know!
